12.24.16-12.26.16 Choir Combo, fruit salads and habaneras

3 days in a row dreaming! It was worth it to dedicate this event a proper post.
As you know, I sing in a choir. We are amateur, but our conductor conducts yet another choir, called Ondarreta. My first dream is about it...
I dreamt that I had recently joined Ondarreta, and I had to pick up the songs, to study them, in a bar in Bilbao. I told my grandma I was going to do so. And there I was, in the bar, and when the waiter served me the songs... well, they were different kinds of fruit saladsOne could tell it was THE bar, cause some women in the choir were there, "practicing their songs", this is, eating their salads. Along with the salads, I was given a looong straw covered with a case made of cloth. And also a tea cup with its little dish and everything, made of ceramic painted in gold.
Later, I met my grandma and we walked through unknown parts of Bilbao (actually it wasn't Bilbao, but some scenarios I've seen before in other dreams) and when we arrived to somewhere we already knew, she said: "Oh, shit, we know this part, this is no longer fun". NEXT DREAM.
My second dream was also about choirs, but this time, all the students in my class formed a choir and we had to sing in London. Just before we go, we go to what used to be my grandma's flat in Aranda de Duero. It looked exactly the same, and I was very confused. I was with a classmate, Pablo, in the kitchen, and told him: "Man, this is so... strange. You know? This has been MY place, that, MY fridge, those MY magnets... this is so confusing". I was worried cause I thought I might leave some stuff because I thought I would come back to what had been a place of mine. The funny thing about that kitchen is that there was this typical mechanism to insert coins a bit above the sink. It was white to fit the wall, and if you inserted a coin, you could fill a glass of water. Another of those was place in the cupboard below, but I can't remember the service it gave access to.
So we finally went to London, but it looked a bit too strange. I was with another classmate, Jon. We were walking and the landscape looked like a country one, with hills, meadows and stuff. We came across a bunch of German girls that greeted us so kindly and I told my classmate that we had sung with them before. We went down and into the urban area and when we arrive to a square we decided to take the bus back to the place we were due to be (the first one left before we could take it, and we had to wait for the second one)... NEXT DREAM.
This was the strangest of all three. I can't remember lots of things, just wanting to see a film or being in a theater with a couple of classmates, Amaia and Jon, and Jon's twin brother, Mikel (never met him, but, you know, it's enough with duplicating the image of his brother with little modifications xD, like the piercings in the face). Before leaving the place, I was feeling again the sensation that I was going to forget something there. We were sigining as we left and some music started to sound in the speakers. Then Mikel says, but I mistake him for his brother, "hey, I know this song", to which I answer "we listened to it the other day while doing [insert whatever here]". I look up and correct myself "Sorry, I thought it was your brother xD".
And after that, I only remember looking as crazy for the habanera rhythm. It was such a thorough search that I've woken up confused xD; and thinking I had to write an habanera. And I will do so. Meanwhile, this was sounding in my head...

12.21.15 Super Erik

This time I'll be short. Gonna tell you probably one of my most hilarious and surprising dreams. Definitely one I won't easily forget...
Watain's Erik Danielsson was at my place (it didn't really look like my house, but I somehow knew it was). Don't know what he did, but he fell asleep for five days in a row (5 F***ING DAYS xD. Who sleeps so long?), and then woke up. At first his eyes were blood red, then recovered their original colour, but that wasn't though the original Erik. He had developed some kind of mental superpowers (you know, teleporting, mental control and such kind of stuff). How did we know? Well, we did know from the beginning, but the proof came afterwards. We were in a crystal elevator, and when it reached the top, it slightly started to fall. All of a sudden, he was out, lifting up the elevator and helping us out, with his mental powers, faster than I could actually realise what was happening...
Definitely, that's not a situation in which I really imagine Erik to be, and that's why it is so hilarious xD...

11.06.16 London-Bilbao-Aranda: The Matrix, and other kind of shit

Hey, too long since I just wrote a dream! Next step from fucked up is finally here. As usual, can't remember all the parts as a whole, but anyway. Let's start with the early parts...
We were in Bilbao, but it obviously didn't look like it. We were in a room, programming stuff with very strange computers. I was with some university classmates & friends. When we went out I realised that the so-called room seemed to be in a castle...
One of those classmates was also my friend, Bolche (he's called Jon, but anyway). I was really affectionate with him, hugging all the time and so on (sorry if I disturbed too much in the dream, man xD) and grandma came and shouted at me: "STOP BEING LIKE THAT WITH THIS GUY!", but I didn't really changed my attitude. So, as I said, we went out, and walked by the river, across a bridge. The area seemed like my favourite beach where I live. And suddenly, a woman came and asked for directions to go to a place in Bilbao that I've never been in. She showed a map with all the parts of the city represented as connected clouds, as though it were some kind of networking scheme. I immediately answered: "Sorry, I don't know the place you're asking about and this map doesn't help whatsoever, can't see anything with this representation". I remember having the thought that I wanted to tell my boyfriend this anecdote.
In another part, I was at a tattoo studio, that seemed more like a normal flat (I know I'm missing details, but it doesn't really matter). I asked her to draw a design of mine on my skin, and showed her the paper where the tattoo was drawn. She said she couldn't draw that, and needed a better version of the design so I showed my agenda and then she accepted to do it (I can't see why the second one was better, can you see the difference??).
Original design

The drawing on the agenda
Then, the hard and also the main part comes. The Matrix, the interdimensional space. We seemed to be in an interdimesional space located in London, by the river Thames. We seemed to be there under the control of someone called Jorge, and I had the sensation that it wasn't the first time. Maybe solving a mission or don't know what. The big space was kind of a medieval city with three main squares: one with the façade of a classical cathedral, the other one with the façade of a neoclassical cathedral (one of them seemed more like baroque, but one mixes the concepts) and the last one had the façade of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, it was the modern space, and seem to contain a concert hall/theater that was marked with a sign that said something like "..., of the sun", who knows what.
In the first scene there, I knew I had walked through the two first spaces, but never the third, and I had walked down the bridge by the Thames to cross to the other part and see some places in London. But I had never been to the third space, so I was so stunned by it. I was with my grandparents, and they wanted to go out of the medieval city. They wanted to go through that last square and I wanted to convince them not to do so. I only knew the other two parts and the front entrance, and knew for sure that we weren't going to find the river so as to have a reference. For some reason, I was convinced it wasn't all symmetric and square and the way one should expect it. It's what happens when you're in a parallel dimensional space.
Finally, grandma insisted to go out through the back entrance and, as I had foreseen, we got lost. We walked following the walls of the city and suddenly found an auto retailer and a garage that didn't have a way out. We went through doors and elevators and finally found a yard full of sand. NEXT SCENE.
On the other hand, the flat or place we lived in inside of the city, was once again that flat my grandma had in Aranda. Or at least looked like it. We had a computer to do stuff, but it also seemed the point of control Jorge had on us. And seemingly we solved something we were needed for. Suddenly, a pretty, young girl dressed in a white gown appeared and said: "Thank you so much, I can finally go back home". I don't know what happened; maybe the little boy her family had recovered and she was the spirit and could came back, or maybe someone that was impersonating her disappeared and she could take her place again... The thing is that she walked through the cabinet for the electric meters and I knew our time was over somehow.
I went to my computer and saw it print snippets of senseless, crazy useless code on the screen and thought: "Fuck, we are running out of time. The other time we were warned that our time in the space was over and had time to collect all our stuff!!!". So I hurried to collect all my stuff, cause the condition was that we could get out of the space, but our things and personal objects couldn't, and I was about to lose too many things. Then it all began to be absorbed by some kind of black holes and spirals. Even in my bag there was one, but I could retrieve all my things from there. And also the lamp in one of the rooms began to compress, and I pulled it down to give it its form again, fitting the different parts in their correct places again. I retrieved all the material but deformed it though. Nevertheless, it recovered its form on its own in a short time.
The final scene is mom, grandma and I wondering what had really happened. We wondered what would happen if we woke up, if that so-called Jorge would force us to forget all that we had lived in that space, and all the things we had, if we were under control or what.
Seemingly, we didn't wake up, but the sensation that something could be going on was there all the time...

Goodbye, Laila

Today, when the sun dies behind the mountains and the seas, everything will be over. What will happen tomorrow is uncertain, Laila, but we won't be here to see it. Our sons, and daughters, who are already swimming in a sea of letters, won't be saved either, but they might not sleep forever. My own tormentor spells my words, for I no longer know how to write them by hand. And, however, I can still remember your italic handwriting, baroque, full of curlicues, smiles and blinks in each corner. Back then sentences meant much more than interlaced words. How much I'd give to read it one more time on that thing we used to call paper. One last time, while twilight goes on, tinged not with blood or death, but void. Yes, a terrifying void fed by the dehumanization of people who, like me, passionately contributed to a ravenous development without knowing what was the price to pay. Not only have I invested my time and my life, but paid for technological advance with the whole humanity. I swear that, had I known that a computer could create a society full of individuals that can't recognize the value of a kiss or that shiver when you're looked at in a special way, had I known, I would have never set foot in that campus of happiness, as they call it; of slavery, I'd say now. Not even our knowledge was ours. It was property of the companies, but we were too entertained playing around with those computers and programs, playing as though we were supreme beings, to even realise. I beg you to forgive me, Laila.
You and I can remember many blackouts. Analog, digital, electrical ones due to the storms. Do you remember how beautiful it was to see each other's face in the candlelight? I only do so vaguely, but something tells me they were precious moments the future will never remember. Nor I think it cares about it. It's too entertained debugging the net of nets. Tonight's blackout is the last one. Tonight's blackout is different: it's human. The last robot I projected is aiming its lasers at me. You no longer belong here, it tells me. It's not my imagination, I taught it how to speak. You don't know how I'd change my drowning in this vital anguish because of what I've done for my drowning in the icecubes in the bottom of a cup of cheap whisky. The sun hides amongst magnetic tracks and flying cars made by people that can't even understand the magic of feeling you're not touching the ground. A super computer is our new God. And I realised too late. My time is over and I must go.
Goodbye for the last time, Laila, tonight I'll die serving a God I created myself...

Dear Love of Mine

Dear love of mine
A new life grows inside
Visions of future fill my mind
In the pitch black hours
Dear, you've been and are light,
Joy and everything that fits in the blue
Ocean your eyes show
How not to get lost, how not to cry?
And how not to smile all at once?
Not even the whole universe can
Not a single comet, planet or star
Explain it, should that happen
Should I someday stay cold by your fire.
Never will I waste a single tear
Yet I'll cry to every night without you
So as to offer them all to Eternity
To the moon, sun and beyond,
Reach each corner of your soul
Or make mine feel like home
Every day where back you want to come
My true companion. Forevermore

For you the purest soul
Who I love to the limits of the very existence
And beyond

10.11.16 A Blue Mix

Tonight's dream was short and its remarkable scenes, pretty few. Just wanna focus on the musical part of it (my musical dreams are the ones I love the most). I was with a classmate, Aitor, doing some kind of practice. In this case, it was about mixing a piece of music. He didn't know how to do it, but the problem was not the steps he had to follow, but to understand what mixing a song was. We had a mixing board connected to a Mac computer (possibly through a FireWire interface, which is pretty common. Don't wanna think of my graduation project, but it's hard to forget xD) in order to perform the so-called mix...
So I took Blue, by Eiffel 65 (which I'm sure is now blasting through your headphones/earphones/speakers) and started to touch every button, lever or command possible, equalizing certain frequency bands and adding effects. I could even hear every change. Thicker sounds when I turned the bass up to its maximum or a more metallic sound of the synthesizers if I turned up the treble. In this way, like a DJ, I tried all the possible effects on the music throughout all the song, so when it finished, I told my mate "Now you know how it's done". The funny thing is that, when I woke up this morning, I thought: "Dunno if he's listened to the song, but it's a lot like him, gotta ask him to listen to it".
What came before (unknown part) or after (my partying hard in a disco, which is not like me whatsoever) are parts that are not important and are lost in an indefinite haze...
Finally, I'd like to thank my bf, David, for having shown (well, not shown, cause I'm sure I knew the song before, but he made me pay attention to it) this song. This dream wouldn't have possibly happened otherwise ;)

10.09.16 Waves, dimensions and superheroes

Now, yet another horde of senseless sequences have appeared in the corners of my mind tonight...
It all starts with a beach, and the waves as so many times before. I was hanging out with my friend Judith, seeing the sea waves come and go, wondering if a truly wild wave would come to us at some time. No sooner had we said this than a huge aquamarine mass of water came, giving us just enough time to cling on to the nearest walls. We kept on walking and found a safer corner to shelter from another gigantic wave...
Suddenly, I was walking in the streets of a city whose name I don't know. It could be Palencia, it could be Viena... or any city I've seen with a relatively wide street with a stone pavement. Now I was with another friend, Saray. We went into an office. I think they sold tickets for classical music concerts, and I wanted to invite her to one of the concerts I was playing. However, it was getting late, we had to go and she declined the invitation.
In another change of scenario, I appeared in my house. I was with (yet) another friend and quite a creepy creature seemed to be roaming around the place too. Apparently, according to one of my comments, it was just a gift-giver. Hilarious... Then, there was kind of a box, or a cupboard in my room, but it wasn't just a normal box. When opened, one could realise it contained another dimension. When I put my hand into it, it just disappeared into nothing. If I put both hands, I could separate the space into two parts as though it were a piece of cloth, and reach another door behind. Immediately, I told my friend about that multidimensional space and they (don't know if there was a boy or a girl with me) didn't believe me, until they also put their hand into the box. Then we were busy with the creature mentioned before until we discovered it was harmless.
Seemingly we called a super hero, something like... the Ghostbusters maybe? Cause we found a copy of the creature, but far more creepy curled up behind the second door. It wasn't moving, and also looked harmless, but we somehow knew we needed help to be saved. So a guy came (a cute one, to be honest) and crossed both doors to fight the beast. However, something happened, because it didn't turned out as expected...
In the next scene we were driving across Brooklyn Bridge and a big bus came towards us. It was driven by the ones we thought to be the good ones, the cute guy's squad. The guy was inside too. Apparently, he had been possessed, or better said, infected by the creature, which made his physical traits uglier, harder and uncomfortable to look at. Now we were a complete squad too to fight against him. We all got out of our respective vehicles and started the fight. In the end, we won and the ones driving the bus (a couple of old doctors, a man and a woman), woke up the guy, who was lying on the road and told him: "Okay, don't worry, it's over, we've removed the X gene from you" (Was this possibly a reference to X-Men??). So in the end, they were not that bad, it seems.
Finally, we are in my room again, and our hero comes to say goodbye, looking as always. I just kiss him goodbye and  he goes.
In the end, I am with a classmate from music school, Aintzane. She's showing me which subjects she is studying in the masters (she's still some 15 years old, but anyway) and there's something about telephony. And I go like "Well you gotta study it even if you're an industrial engineer. Well, tough shit!", and she answers: "But I'm studying Chemistry, not even engineering", which makes me feel cool in the end, cause in my dream there's a telecommunications subject that invades all the masters' syllabuses, haha.
I think I'm reaching new levels xD.
